How to install Sims 2 on Windows 10 and SSD drive

 

New Method

1. Install game

2.โหลดไฟล์เหล่านี้4ไฟล์

-Graphic rules.sgr กับ video.sgr ใส่ใน C:\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff\TSData\Res\Config

 -d3d9.dll ใส่ใน C:\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff\TSBin

 -Sims2EP9.exe ใส่ใน C:\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff\TSBin

3. Run game once. It will generate save game folder in My Document ("EA Games" folder).

4. Move that save game folder "EA Games" to SSD drive by follow this method here

 

 

 

Old Method

1. Install game

2. Increase resolution by follow this method here

3. Run game once. It will generate save game folder in My Document ("EA Games" folder).

4. Move that save game folder "EA Games" to SSD drive by follow this method here

5. Used CFF explorer and did the Data Execution Prevention to prevent in-game crash by follow this method here 

6. Used this Graphic Rules.sgr to prevent pink glitch and 1920x1080 copy to C:\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff\TSData\Res\Config

P.S. How do I get rid of Sims 2 intro?

Double click the C: Drive, then EA Games > The Sims 2 > TSData > Res > Movies: Delete ealogo_audio. movie (the whisper one) and intro_eng_audio. movie (the intro)
